We dye cord with onion skin, madder root and indigo, then knot it into wall hangings, plant hangers and baskets. Saturday sessions run for eight people at a time, materials included, and you take the finished piece home.
Commissions for restaurants, guesthouses and stylists are quoted per square metre. Offcuts become small plant holders sold at the studio door. Read more on the studio notes or come see the current dye batch.
We are a two-person studio, so replies come from whoever is at the dye pot that day. Most messages about commissions, workshop benches or the current batch get an answer within one working day. If you write on a Saturday, expect to hear back on Monday.
